Charger Hellcat Speed - Next year, Dodge will sell what it claims is the fastest and most powerful production car in the world: the 2021 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Rede. It oozes muscle, with a 797-horsepower 6.2-liter Hemi V-8 tucked under a new performance hood with matching air intakes. It was designed to last at the dragstrip with a quarter-mile time of 10.6 seconds at 129 mph. According to Dodge, it runs up to 60 mph in the mid-3rd. And it has a top speed of 203 mph.
The Charger Hellcat Redeye springboards from Charger Hellcat are even more powerful for 2021 with a new 717-hp rating. The Rede's engine has been pumped with 25 significant upgrades, the most significant of which is the 2.7-liter supercharger, which Dodge says is the largest supercharger in any production car. The Redeye engine also gets a unique SRT Power Chiller system. Here's a fun fact: With your foot pressed to the accelerator floor, the Hellcat Redeye guzzles 1.43 gallons of fuel per minute. At this rate, the entire fuel tank will be empty in 11 minutes. But cruising on the highway, you'll get up to 22 mpg.

Power is sent to the rear wheels of the Charger Hellcat Ready through an 8-speed automatic transmission. Redail includes the Charger's widebody fender flares, increasing the vehicle's width by 3.5 inches and making room for Pirelli 305/35ZR20 all-season or summer performance tires. Other performance features include items you'll find on the Hellcat, such as launch control and launch assist systems, a race cooldown function, adaptive damping suspension, performance brakes and torque reserve.

You can distinguish the Rede from the standard Hellcat widebody by its light 20-inch carbon black wheels. Step into the cabin and you'll find a unique red 220-mph speedometer and Ready logos including a key fob. Through the car's Uconnect infotainment system, the SRT Performance Page feature tracks various performance aspects of your drive.
You can pick up the 2021 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Ready in the fall, and cars will start arriving in stores in early 2021.

Although the video is short, it has a higher rating than the high speed. There's plenty of engine revving and tire smoke as you hear the sound of the supercharger in the background against the brutal American roar of the V8. The 707-hp V8 produces 650 pound-feet (882 Newton-meters) of torque, all of which is sent to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
